NEW YORK, March 20 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Robert W Baird reiterate their "outperform" rating on Amgen Inc (AMGN). The target price is set to $90.

In a research note published on March 17, the analysts mention that the UK's National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) said that EPO treatment is not cost effective for the treatment of cancer patients with anemia. According to the analysts, the sales of Amgen’s Aranesp drug are unlikely to be adversely affected by this decision going forward.
