1157 GMT [Dow Jones] Dresdner Kleinwort reiterates hold on Imperial Tobacco (IMT.LN). Broker says speculation Imperial would be preferred takeover candidate for Altria (MO) is "specious." It says Philip Morris International would face antitrust issues while a separate Philip Morris USA would lack synergies. Broker adds it would take years before Imperial could generate any material profit from entering US itself. Has target of 1,760p. Shares +0.1% at 1,820p. (MIC)
