Dow Chemical downgraded to "buy" - update

NEW YORK, August 3 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Matrix Research downgrade Dow Chemical Co (DOW) from "strong buy" to "buy."

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company’s results are being adversely affected by weakening demand for plastics in the automobiles and housing sectors. Dow Chemical’s EVA has declined by 76% over the 12 months ended June, the analysts say.
