NEW YORK, August 22 (newratings.com) - Analyst Brittney Blume of DA Davidson maintains her "buy" rating on American Eagle Outfitters Inc (AEO), while reducing her estimates for the company. The 12-18 month target price is set to $36.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company has reported its 2Q07 EPS ahead of the estimates and the consensus. American Eagle Outfitters has issued its EPS guidance for 3Q at $0.47-$0.48, short of the consensus. The EPS estimate for FY07 has been reduced from $1.97 to $1.96.
