Telecom equipment vendors to benefit from improved wireline capex
06/10/05 - Robert W. Baird
NEW YORK, June 10 (newratings.com) – Analysts at Robert W Baird expect the US telecom equipment stocks to benefit considerably from the improved wireless capital spending trends in the near term.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that various telecom equipment vendors at the Chicago Supercomm show forecasted a robust outlook for the current carrier spending trends. The vendors have indicated that the trends in the current quarter remain above expectations and visibility remains high through 2005, Robert W Baird says. The analysts consider ADC Telecommunications (ADCT), Adtran (ADTN), Nortel Networks (NT), Tekelec (TKLC), Tellabs (TLAB) and Westell (WSTL) best positioned among the telecom equipment vendors to benefit from the improved wireline capital spending trends.
