Roche "buy"

LONDON, December 6 (newratings.com) - Analysts at ING Financial Markets maintain their "buy" rating on Roche (ROG). The 12-month target price is set to SEK218.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has benefited in the recent past from the clinical success of Avastin, Herceptin and Tarceva. According to the analysts, the performance of Roche’s diagnostics division in 2006 is expected to benefit from new product rollouts, such as Accu-Chek Spirit and Accu-Chek Aviva. The company is expected to achieve group sales growth of 17.5% in 2005, ING Financial Markets adds.
