NEW YORK, January 16 (newratings.com) - Analyst Ian Hunter of Goodbody Stockbrokers maintains his "add" rating on Elan Corp Plc (ELN).

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has recently indicated that it would release its 4Q05 and 2005 results on January 31. Biogen Idec is scheduled to report results on February 15, the analyst says. According to Goodbody Stockbrokers, the dates for result declaration imply that any substantive information regarding Tysabri is unlikely.
