Potential for high-end offshoring in Russia

LONDON, March 17 (newratings.com) – Analysts at UBS say that Russia has significant potential for high-end offshoring, while Poland has growth prospects in the BPO market.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the Polish IT market has healthy growth prospects for BPO operations, given the country's well-educated workforce and high unemployment. The analysts believe that IT offshoring would grow significantly in Russia going forward. UBS adds, however, that these two countries are unlikely to become "another India" in offshoring.
