Critical Therapeutics "market outperform"

NEW YORK, August 28 (newratings.com) - Analyst Adam Cutler of JMP Securities reiterates his "market outperform" rating on Critical Therapeutics Inc (CRTX).

In a research note published on August 25, the analyst mentions that the company has reported that the 300 mg Zyflo IV dose group indicated a mean FEV1 improvement of 13.7% in absolute volume at 60 minutes. The trial was completed by all 60 patients, with the data showing that IV Zyflo was tolerated well at all doses tested and no adverse events seen in the trial, the analyst says. JMP Securities believes that the forthcoming data would act as a positive catalyst for Critical Therapeutics’ stock, although the need for capital may exert pressure on the company’s share price in the near term.
