Johnson & Johnson receives subpoenas for three drugs

NEW YORK, March 12 (newratings.com) - Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Monday announced that it had received three subpoenas from US attorneys related to the sales and marketing of three of its drugs.
The New Brunswick, New Jersey-based company said US attorneys in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Boston had subpoenaed it for promoting drugs for uses not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Johnson & Johnson added that it will cooperate with the government in the investigation that involves schizophrenia drug, Risperdal, the seizure medication, Topamax, and the congestive heart failure treatment Natrecor.
