DJ MARKET TALK: DaimlerChrysler 3Q Good; 07 Looks Uncertain

1255 GMT [Dow Jones] DaimlerChrysler's (DCX) 3Q figures are "good," says Michael Punzet of Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz. Says the operating performance convinced the market and bodes well for the full year results. Says development of the new models met the market's expectations. Doesn't expect any negative surprises for the rest of the year. However notes uncertainties stemming from the US truck market in '07 remain. Says most truck makers have reduced their guidance for '07 yet Daimler has reiterated the US outlook for its truck division. Also notes the company didn't deliver an '07 outlook for Chrysler which might imply further downside risk. Shares +5.1% at EUR43.61. (MIF/JUM)
