CPL Resources "buy"

LONDON, January 21 (newratings.com) - Analyst Philip O'Sullivan of Goodbody Stockbrokers maintains his "buy" rating on CPL Resources (DQ5).

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company is expected to post strong results for the six months ended December, with 46% y/y earnings growth. CPL Resources’ growth prospects continue to be driven by the company's healthy balance sheet, proven track record and diversified earnings stream, the analyst says. Goodbody Stockbrokers adds, however, that the company’s share price is unlikely to appreciate in the near term, unless the uncertainty surrounding global employment trends is removed.
