Computer Associates "overweight"

NEW YORK, November 23 (newratings.com) - Analyst Michael Turits of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on Computer Associates International (CA). The target price is set to $35.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company is likely to announce the appointment of John Swainson, an IBM veteran, as its new CEO on November 23. The appointment of Mr Swainson is expected to enhance Computer Associates’ position in the software segment, Prudential Financial says.
