British Airways "overweight"

LONDON, June 27 (newratings.com) - Analysts at JP Morgan maintain their "overweight" rating on British Airways (BAY2-GBX).

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has increased its fuel price surcharge for short-haul and long-haul flights by 33% and 50%, respectively. The outlook for loads in the economy-class cabins of the company’s long-haul segment are likely to have been weakening, the analysts say. British Airways’ performance is expected to be robust in the premium-class cabins going forward, JP Morgan adds.
