Adams Respiratory Therapeutics initiated with "outperform"

NEW YORK, August 31 (newratings.com) - Analyst Ken Trbovich of RBC Capital Markets initiates coverage of Adams Respiratory Therapeutics (ARXT) with an "outperform" rating. The 12-month target price is set to $35.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company is likely to generate $150 million in revenues from its cold and cough remedies, Mucinex and Mucinex-DM, in FY05. The launch of Adams Respiratory Therapeutics' Mucinex-D product is expected to significantly boost the company's revenues and profitability going forward, the analyst says. According to RBC Capital Markets, the company has a robust product pipeline, which includes three drugs that have already been approved by the FDA.
